Open Enrollment for Access Health CT

Open enrollment for 2022 health plans on Connecticut’s Affordable Care Act exchange is now underway.

With additional subsidies available for many who joined qualified health plans, the exchange, known as Access Health CT, has held special enrollment periods throughout much of this year. Beginning Nov 1, consumers will be able to enroll or re-enroll in policies for 2022.

The following information and resources were provided by Access Health CT

Open Enrollment Started November 1. 

New this year:

  • The deadline is different. Open Enrollment for the 2022 plan year is November 1, 2021 to January 15, 2022. For customers to start the year with coverage they must enroll by December 15, 2021.
  • New Enrollment Locations, for a total of 5. Residents can get one-on-one help with their application from an Enrollment Specialist or Certified Broker in Danbury, East Hartford, Hartford, New Haven, and Stamford. Enrollment Fairs will also be held, see website for details.
  • Most people get some type of financial help, low-cost or free coverage. New federal and state programs have changed the way financial help is calculated.

  • In Your Area: Search for Certified Brokers and Enrollment Specialists near you to provide one-on-one help with your application or plan selection.
