How should the boundaries of CT’s voting districts be adjusted?

September 7, 2021
Not just in central Connecticut but throughout the state?

Once every decade, following the U.S. Census, the State of Connecticut reassess all voting districts and their geographical boundaries in an effort to enable proper and even coverage for the entire state’s population.

The Connecticut Reapportionment Committee proctors the process of adjusting the districts’ boundaries and is conducting several public hearings on this issue and is seeking your input.
These upcoming hearings are opportunities to testify AND/OR submit written comments.

The Committee, which is comprised of state lawmakers, encourages those testifying to submit a written statement and to orally summarize their testimony for no longer than three minutes.

Please email your comments to [email protected] and include your name and town.
