Don’t want CT govt-run health care and job losses? Speak out!

February 8, 2021

On Tuesday, Feb. 9, a public hearing will be held on proposal from Democrats to create government-run health care in Connecticut.

The proposal would:

  • Kill good-paying private sector insurance jobs in our state
  • Raise the cost of private and employer health insurance
  • Force people onto Medicaid
  • Put Connecticut taxpayers on the hook to pay for the government-run program’s future losses.

Republicans have proposed a better way.

Our Republican solution protects middle-class families and Connecticut jobs. It lowers health insurance premiums up to 20 percent while not harming our state’s insurance industry.

Our Republican solution makes health insurance more affordable, but it does not put thousands of Connecticut jobs in jeopardy at a time when the state is dead last in the nation in job growth.

How can you speak out against the proposed government-run plan?
