Senator-Elect Paul Cicarella Thanks Voters for their Support, Commits to Represent all Voices

Paul Cicarella is thanking voters for their support after winning the 34th District state Senate race to replace long-serving Republican Senate Minority Leader Len Fasano.

“I want to thank the people of the 34th District for putting their trust and faith in me to serve as their next state senator,” said Cicarella. “I am deeply humbled and honored by the support I received during my campaign and in this election. Thank you to all those who voted, who welcomed me at your doors, who spoke to me on the phone, and who connected with me on social media. You are the reason I ran, and I look forward to bringing your voices to Hartford. To my family, friends and volunteers – I am so grateful for your unwavering support.”

Cicarella added, “To those who didn’t vote for me, I will work hard to earn your trust as I focus on supporting all Connecticut families in the 34th district. I thank my opponent for running a clean race without engaging in personal attacks. We all want what is best for our state and I remain committed to representing the voices of all people in our district no matter their political affiliation. It’s time to put politics aside and work together to make Connecticut more affordable, get people back to work, address and recover from the pandemic, and build a brighter future for all our families.”

Paul Cicarella is a small business owner and former corrections officer who grew up in East Haven and currently lives in North Haven with his wife Christy who works as a nurse, their two children who attend North Haven public schools, and their two bulldogs. Cicarella founded Advanced Investigations, LLC, a private investigations agency. He is also the owner of National Bug Sweep and Advanced Installations and serves as President of CT Private Investigators Association and Director of National Council of Investigation and Security Services. Cicarella is a sponsor and coach of youth athletics and founder of East Haven’s first youth wrestling clinic. He is also a volunteer for organizations including Mothers Against Drunk Driving (MADD), the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and is a member of the North Haven Zoning Board of Appeals

Cicarella will be sworn in to the State Senate in January to represent the 34th district including the towns of Durham, East Haven, North Haven and Wallingford.
