Senator Tony Hwang (R-28) offered the following statement on the passing of United States Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg

“Justice Ginsburg’s commitment to her post shaped the policy and law of our country. A leader of outstanding integrity, she overcame so many challenges throughout her entire career.  I admire her tenacity and I will miss her perspective on the most important matters facing this nation.  

“She is a true legend who lived a full, active life.  A role model and inspiration for many young women, Justice Ginsburg fought for gender equality and against discrimination.

“I am glad I was able to witness her successes for the nearly-30 years she served the US. Supreme Court.  My thoughts and prayers are with the Ginsburg family during this time.”
