I am outraged by the unacceptable response to Tropical Storm Isaias, especially at a time when ratepayers are facing unaffordable bills and rate increases.

Read my testimony submitted to the Public Utilities Regulatory Authority (PURA) and to the Energy & Technology Committee hearing to investigate Eversource’s storm response and rate increases. Utilities and regulators like PURA all need to be accountable.

3) SAVE THE DATE: PURA Public Comment Hearings on Eversource & Response to Tropical Storm Isaias
PURA has scheduled three public comment hearings for October 21st, 22nd, and 23rd at which time the public will have the opportunity to comment on Eversource and United Illuminating’s responses to Tropical Storm Isaias. More information will be shared on how to testify as the hearings get closer.
