Senator Witkos Calls for Plan to Re-Open DMV Offices

Senator Witkos has called on Governor Lamont to release details on plans to re-open Department of Motor Vehicle offices to the general public.

“As one of the most frequented agencies by members of the public, it is vital that we work to return in person services to DMV offices statewide.  While I recognize that some work can be done online or by sending in paperwork through the U.S. mail, I have been hearing from many constituents that there is a significant time delay in getting even simple things like a registration processed.   It is also important to note that while many people do have access to the internet, there are many in our state that do not have this same access and are being shut out of these essential state services” said Senator Witkos.
