Sen. Berthel, House and Senate Republicans Celebrate Bauer, Inc.’s Reopening for Business

Senator Berthel joined Senate Republican Caucus members Senator Henri Martin (R-31) and Senator Rob Sampson (R-16) at Bauer, Inc. headquarters in Bristol to celebrate the company’s re-opening for business on Thursday, June 25. Bauer, Inc., a Connecticut family-owned business, designs and manufactures component test and support equipment for the commercial and military aviation industry, as well as marine industry. Sen. Berthel has several constituents that are employed at Bauer, Inc. The Senate Republican Caucus delegation also toured the 50,000 square-foot manufacturing and engineering facility.

“Senate and House Republicans are proud to support businesses like Bauer, Inc., who has been a vital member of the state’s business community for now 104 years,” said Sen. Berthel. “This is a family-run company that is an integral part of Connecticut’s economic engine, providing good jobs and supporting the tax base. We need to ensure that we support them, and all businesses in the state,” he said.
