Sen. Miner Welcomes Students from Rumsey Hall School to the Capitol

Sen. Miner welcomed 5^th grade students from Rumsey Hall School, a junior boarding and day school in Washington, Connecticut, to the Capitol on Wednesday, Feb. 19. The students took a tour of the capitol and were then met by Sen. Miner on the floor of the Senate Chamber where he described what goes on at the Capitol, the events of the day, and the legacy and history behind each senate seat before taking the students’ questions. Students and teachers from the school make this visit each year as part of its History Studies course.
