Senator Witkos Tours Avon Business Sanford & Hawley

Senator Witkos, far right, joins State Representative Leslee Hill (R-Canton) and business owners and staff of Sanford & Hawley in Avon for a tour of their facility.

Senator Kevin Witkos recently joined Representative Leslee Hill (R-Canton) to tour Sanford & Hawley in Avon.  The legislators were on hand to learn more about their industry and to meet with business owners and staff.   “I appreciated the opportunity to hear from owners Ted and Bob Sanford and their staff about their business. It was also interesting to hear of the opportunities that exist in the industry for our young men and women after high school. It’s important to encourage our younger generations to explore these good paying trades and I was grateful to hear of Ted and Bob’s interest in spreading the word about their industry” said Senator Witkos.  

Sanford & Hawley has been in existence since 1884 when they were first established in Unionville.  The business currently operates 4 locations including Avon, Unionville, Manchester, and Springfield, MA.
