Senator Witkos Statement Regarding Comments of Congressional Candidate

Senator Witkos (R-Canton) today released the following statement in response to social media comments made by 5th Congressional Candidate Robert Hyde.

“The comments made on social media by congressional candidate Robert Hyde about Senator Kamala Harris are highly offensive and have no place in our public discourse.  Residents across the 5^th Congressional District are deserving of respectful and polite dialogue and these disgusting comments are not to be tolerated.  I join my legislative colleagues in calling for Mr. Hyde to end his campaign to represent the 5^th Congressional district and I condemn his comments in the strongest possible way”
