Kelly Updates WDRC on Challenges CT Seniors are Facing

Senator Kevin Kelly joined Brad Davis and Gary Byron to talk about Connecticut’s flailing numbers in terms of people living in the state and why more burdens are falling on CT seniors.

Sen. Kelly: 

“We have very regressive aging polices.

The governor came out with a cut to nursing home funding, and at the same time he’s shutting down the CT home care program.

Seniors and people heading into retirement start to realize, ‘Hey, as I get older, not only are you (Democrats) gonna hit me with tax hikes and take more money out of my family budget, but if I need state assistance, there’s no safety net in CT for seniors anymore.’”
