(WATCH) Sen. Hwang Hosts Press Conference, Testifies to The Finance Committee Concerning Legalizing Marijuana, Social Costs, and Implications

On Monday, April 29th State Senator Tony Hwang held a press conference with State Rep. Vincent Candelora, Luke Niforatos of Smart Approaches to Marijuana (SAM), Reverend Bruce Morris of the Norwalk Clergy, Susan Klein, a victim of an intoxicated driver, and other advocates to talk about the social costs and consequences of legalizing marijuana. He also later testified alongside Mrs. Klein during the Finance, Revenue and Bonding Committee opposing a bill that would direct the use of tax revenue from legalized marijuana.
