Senator Henri Martin’s Statement in Memoriam of State Rep. Ezequiel Santiago

“We were all shocked and saddened today to hear of the passing of Representative Ezequiel Santiago. My thoughts and prayers are with his family, his friends, and all those he touched before leaving us all too soon. The good Representative of Bridgeport was always a kind, thoughtful and caring man and colleague, who always put the good of his constituents and the people of Connecticut first. A strong and true leader of the Bridgeport delegation, Ezequiel was the best advocate his community could have hoped for,” said Senator Martin.

“The tribute we saw today in the Atrium was a beautiful and powerful testament to the respect we all have for him, and showed just how much the building and the State of Connecticut will miss his leadership and his passion. Rest in Peace, my friend.”
