Here’s the good news…

Last week, I called for Access Health CT’s sign-up period to be extended beyond its scheduled end at midnight on Dec. 15.

I did so because I have received numerous calls from people who say they haven’t been able to reach the state health insurance exchange to sign up for 2019 health care coverage.

Access Health CT’s immediate public response to my request was as follows:

“We have not been getting complaints.”

Here’s the good news:

Access Health CT has since announced that it is extending the deadline to Jan. 15.
