Sen. Scott Frantz issued the following statement in reaction to Saturday’s deadly attack at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh, Pa., where a gunman claimed the lives of 11 adults and injured six others during worship.

“We do not accept violence or bigotry.

We know love will always defeat hate and evil.

We are united – as Americans, and as people of all faiths – in condemning these killings.

We are united in our support and in our prayers for the Jewish community in this time of tremendous grief.”
