Naugatuck Fall Festival

Great to see so many of you this weekend at the Naugatuck Fall Festival!  Here I am with Deputy Mayor Laurie Taf-Jackson, Mayor Pete Hess, Senator Joan Hartley.  It was an honor to perform my Jimi Hendrix-style rendition of the “Star Spangled Banner”.  The festival followed the 3rd Annual 22 for 22 Hike for Suicide Awareness. This hike was not only to raise awareness but also funding to help provide desperately needed services to our vets through Mission 22 partners. This year’s hike was dedicated to Private Jason Litke, who lost his life to this battle. Mission 22 is nonprofit organization that seeks to end veteran suicide. www.mission22.com
