All Roads Lead to the Union Contracts Negotiated by Governor Malloy

July 11, 2018

Friends,

One July 1st, the diesel fuel tax in Connecticut increased by 2.2 cents for a total of 43.9 cents-per-gallon. We all know that the primary users of diesel fuel are in the trucking industry.

You may have heard some people say that tractor trailers driving through our state cause the most damage without paying their fair share in taxes. That simply in not true, as I eexplain in my conversation with radio host Brad Davis on his WDRC 1360 AM radio program, which is linked below. We discuss the need to address our high transportation administrative costs, which are directly likned to the costly union contracts negotiated by Governor Malloy.
