Sen. Logan Congratulates Young Republicans

MIDDLETOWN –  Sen. George S. Logan (center) on Nov. 14 attended the swearing-in ceremony of Ed Ford Jr. (left) and Tyrell Brown (right).

On Election Day, Ford won a seat on the Middletown school board and Brown was elected to the Middletown Planning and Zoning Commission.

Ford is a psychology major at Central Connecticut State University.

Brown is a business major at Southern Connecticut State University.

Ford and Brown, both Republicans, are 20-years-old.

Logan congratulated Ford and Brown and said he hoped that their success will inspire other young people to get involved in their communities.
