Happy Thanksgiving from Senator Henri Martin

November 22, 2017

Friends,

At this time of year, we reflect on all that we are thankful for: the love of friends and family, the opportunity to gather together and break bread, the chance to see another sunrise.

But, being thankful can be difficult for people who’ve fallen on hard times and those spending the holiday alone. This can be especially true for the elderly.

If you know anyone like this, I hope you will give them a reason to be thankful. If possible, invite them to join your Thanksgiving celebration. If not, call them or stop for a short visit. Let them know that they mean something, that you are thankful to have them in your life.

Because we all have value. Each and everyone one of us is special in some way and make an impact on the lives of those around us.

I am so thankful to be able to represent you in Hartford. I am thankful for the opportunity to work for positive changes that will make Connecticut better for all of its residents.

I wish you and yours a happy, blessed Thanksgiving.

Thank you
