State Senator Art Linares (R-33) attended the CBIA Manufacturing & Technology Day at the capitol where he answered questions about the state’s future in manufacturing and technology. He has been a proponent of apprenticeships as a way to simultaneously train workers and provide manufacturers with the highly skilled labor they need.
Sen. Linares is Co-Chair of the Higher Education & Employment Opportunity Committee and represents the communities of Chester, Clinton, Colchester, Deep River, East Haddam, East Hampton, Essex, Haddam, Lyme, Old Saybrook, Portland and Westbrook.
