Free Residential Electronics Recycling Event – April 29th

The Town of Tolland, in cooperation with Take 2, Inc., will be hosting a FREE Residential Electronics Recycling Collection Event at Tolland High School. Residents are encouraged to bring their unwanted electronics to the drive-up/drive-through electronics collection event on Saturday, April 29^th between 8:00 a.m. and 12:00 Noon.

Take 2, Inc. will be on site to unload vehicles and safely package and transport all equipment to be responsibly recycled.

Tolland High School is located at 1 Eagle Hill Road in Tolland.

Accepted materials Include:

Computers

Laptops

Printers

Fax Machines

Monitors

TVs

Cell Phones

Tablets

Video Games

Game consoles

VCR/DVD players

Remotes

Keyboards

Small Appliances

Light Bulbs

Batteries

Unaccepted Materials Include:

Smoke detectors,

Propane tanks,

Household hazardous waste

Appliances containing Freon including – air conditioners, refrigerators, dehumidifiers
