April 9, 2017State Senator Toni Boucher (R-26) today reminded residents that railroad crossing upgrades in Wilton will impact drivers and train passengers through Thursday, April 13. Additional rail crossing upgrades also will impact train riders the weekends of May 12-14 and May 19-21.
“I am glad these upgrades are being done,” Sen. Boucher said. “While the noise and detours will cause some inconvenience, improving our rail and road infrastructure is vital to the safety of all who travel throughout Connecticut.”
Honey Hill Road in Wilton will be closed at the railroad crossing starting today and will remain closed until April 13. No train service will be available between Danbury and Norwalk on Saturday, April 8 and Sunday April 9. Attached is a document detailing the times and locations for substitute bus service.
