Sen. Logan Honors Student Essay Contest Writers

HAMDEN – During a Mar. 29 ceremony at the Miller Library Complex, Sen. George S. Logan honored student winners of an essay contest held in recognition of Black History Month.  Students were asked to compose a 300-word essay on the topic, “African-American Figures in Connecticut’s History and How Their Contributions to the State and Nation Affect Me.”  The contest was conducted in partnership with Ion Bank of Hamden.
