CT retirees: “We want you to stay.”

I want to make you aware of an excellent bill proposal in the state legislature which aims to ease Connecticut’s tax burden on retirees.

Bill #272 would phase in an exemption over a five-year period from the personal income tax for pension income to a maximum of $100,000, beginning Jan. 1, 2018.

Bill #272 sends a positive message to current and future Connecticut retirees:

“We want you to stay in Connecticut.”
