I hope you agree with me when I say:

“State funding for honor guard rifle salutes at Connecticut veterans’ funerals should not be cut!”

I serve as a member of the legislature’s Veterans’ Affairs Committee.

I am pleased to inform you that on Tuesday, our panel discussed a bill concept known as “An Act Honoring Deceased Veterans.”

This bill will address the state funding that was unfairly cut to the Connecticut Honor Guard.

A public hearing will soon be scheduled on this bill.

I will keep you informed on this important issue and how you can testify in favor of this bill.
