Sen. Linares Statement on the 75th Anniversary of Pearl Harbor

We owe so much to our veterans. Their determination and sacrifice ensured the freedoms we hold so dear as Americans. On this 75th anniversary of Pearl Harbor, we pay tribute to those brave men and women who came under attack that day.

Sadly, too few of our WWII veterans are still with us. We cannot allow the memory of their sacrifice and the importance of this day to fade away.

We are so fortunate that many of the schools in the 33rd Senate District invite our veterans to share their stories with our children. It’s important they learn the cost of our liberties and meet those who pledged their lives for our country.

To all of our veterans, today and every day, we salute you.
