Monroe Offers Flu Clinic

ATTENTION MONROE RESIDENTS

The Monroe Health Department will be hosting a flu clinic on Tuesday, November 1, from 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m., at the Monroe Senior Center, located at 235 Cutler Farm Road.

flu-clinicThe vaccination being offered will cover four different types of flu viruses. In addition, the clinic will have a limited supply of the Fluzone High Dose vaccine for residents age 65 and older.

FluClinic1No appointments are necessary for the November 1st walk-in clinic and vaccines will be administered on a first come, first served basis.

The clinic will accept Medicare Part B, Anthem BC/BS, Connecticare, Cigna and Aetna. The clinic will not accept United Healthcare.

All others will be charged a $30 fee for the standard flu vaccine and $65 for the high dose vaccine, payable by cash or check.
