Sen. Henri Martin (pictured) met with area taxpayers at Gnazzo’s in Plainville on July 16 to talk about state issues and help fight hunger in the region.
Sen. Martin, who represents Plainville, Bristol, Harwinton, Plymouth and Thomaston, collected non-perishable food and non-food items to benefit the Plainville Community Pantry.
“I thank area taxpayers for taking the time to say hello on a Saturday morning and to discuss issues that are important to them,” Sen. Martin said. “At the State Capitol, I continue to put you, the taxpayers, first. I thank Gnazzo’s terrific staff and management for allowing me to host this event, and I also thank the community for its very generous donations to the Plainville Community Pantry. These items will help many needy people in our area.”
