Touting Eastern CT Manufacturing

Three Rivers College Foundation President William Stanley Jr.(left) and Sen. Paul Formica (right) were among the attendees at a Mar. 3 event at Three Rivers Community College honoring the Eastern Advanced Manufacturing Alliance (EAMA).

EAMA partners with Quinebaug Valley Community College, Three Rivers Community College, Ella T. Grasso Southeastern Technical High School, and H.H. Ellis Technical High School to increase the capacity and industry-relevance of the region’s primary manufacturing training and educational programs. EAMA works with these educational partners to change perceptions of the manufacturing industry and promote manufacturing careers to youth and adults. EAMA supports its two partner colleges to align their efforts to best meet the needs of all regional manufacturers.

Sen. Formica, a member of the Connecticut General Assembly’s Manufacturing Caucus, represents Bozrah, East Lyme, a portion of Montville, New London, Old Lyme, a portion of Old Saybrook, Salem, and Waterford.
