Windsor – State Senator Kevin Witkos (R-Canton), second from the right, helps a group of volunteers serve food during the Special Olympics Connecticut 2016 Winter Games that took place this past weekend, February 27 and 28. Events included alpine skiing, snowboarding, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, figure skating, speed skating, gymnastics, and floor hockey. The food service tent provided food for over 1,000 athletes and their coaches.
