Sen. Formica Attends Ribbon Cutting for Groton Submarine Base Dive Locker

Groton-On Thursday Dec. 4th state Senator Paul Formica (R-20) joined area legislators attending the ribbon cutting ceremony for the Groton SUBASE Dive Locker.

The dive locker is a joint partnership between Connecticut and the Navy to improve the military value of the base. It replaces a much older dive locker which is close to a century old.

“It was an honor to attend the opening of the SUBASE Dive Locker,” said Senator Formica. “Connecticut is committed to its base and proud naval tradition.”
