Sen. Formica Addresses Shoreline Leo Club

Shoreline Leo Club President Ashwin Menon, Senator Paul Formica, and Care & Share President Norman Bender. Formica and Bender were presented with Certificates of Appreciation for addressing the Shoreline Leo Club’s December meeting at the East Lyme Community Center.

The Shoreline Leo Club’s December meeting at the East Lyme Community Center featured guest speakers Sen. Paul Formica and Care & Share President Norm Bender.

Bender thanked the Leo members for their ongoing donations to Care & Share from Leo car washes, Leo Pasta Suppers, and annual Toy Drives. These funds are used to help those in need in East Lyme and Salem. Formica spoke of the importance of volunteer service, including service on town boards. His daughter has a past Leo connection as a member while attending East Lyme High School.

The Shoreline Leo Club helps children, seniors, and those most in need. The club is sponsored by the Niantic Lions Club.
