Sen. Markley “Bags Hunger” in Southington

Southington – On Wednesday September 16th, state Senator Joe Markley bagged groceries and collected donations at the Southington ShopRite as part of the chain’s “Help Bag Hunger” initiative.

“Help Bag Hunger” is an event put on by ShopRite’s Partners in Caring, designed to raise funds and awareness about local food insecurity.
