Legislators Host “Coffee Hour”; Talk Taxes

Area state legislators recently held their September “Coffee Hour” at Rodd’s Restaurant in Bristol. At Rodd’s, area residents discussed state policies such as taxation with Sen. Henri Martin, Rep. Whit Betts, and Rep. Cara Pavalock. The Republican legislators all voted against the state budget, which hiked taxes by the second largest amount in state history.
