August 27, 2015

Wolcott – State Senator Joe Markley (R-Southington) and state Representative Rob Sampson (R-Wolcott) are kicking off their “Pizza & Politics” tour on Wednesday September 2nd from 6:30 to 8 at McBride’s Restaurant at 246 Wolcott Rd in Wolcott.

Markley and Sampson will eat dinner at McBride’s and invite any and all interested people to sit down with them to discuss the issues.

“Everything tastes a little better over a slice of McBride’s pizza,”said Markley. “I’m looking forward to hearing my constituents input on all the important issues, not the least of which being what I should get for toppings!”

“This is one of the rare occasions that extra cheese goes well with political discussions,” said Rep. Sampson. “I hope that areas residents will take us up on joining us for some great food and discussion.”

The legislators will be holding a second “Pizza & Politics” meeting on Thursday September 17th from 6:30-8 at Formaggio Apizza at 1244 Meriden Ave in Southington.
