Sen. Guglielmo Willington Gun Range Referendum
August 19, 2015Hartford, CT – State Senator Tony Guglielmo (R-Stafford) released the following statement today re: Willington town referendum to overwhelmingly approve the use of $100,000 to perform an environmental site study and hire attorney’s to stop the construction of a State Police Firing Range on Ruby Road.
“I support the will of the people on this issue. An overwhelming amount of the town came out to the polls to voice their opinion and now they have been heard. This is one step in a long battle to stop the firing range from moving into town. But it is a step in the right direction.
“I look forward to the results of all the fact finding both the state and now the town will be undertaking.”
