State Senator Joe Markley Meets with Constituents at Waterbury Senior Center

Waterbury-State Senator Joe Markley (R-Southington) today met with dozens of constituents at the Waterbury senior center in the East End.

Senator Markley gave a brief update on the business in Hartford and answered questions on topics ranging from the state budget to social services.

“As always, I enjoyed my time speaking with the people of Waterbury,” said Senator Markley. “They expressed frustration with the inefficiency of government services and the rising cost of living in Connecticut—concerns I share. I look forward to getting back to work and taking these people’s concerns back to Hartford. I’d like to extend a special thanks to Danessa Marshall, the new director of the Senior Center. She’s done a marvelous job in her new role, and I look forward to working with her in the future.”
