Thomaston Championship Hoops Team Honored at Capitol

Sen. Henri Martin (second from left) and Rep. John Piscopo (second from right) on May 26 welcomed the Thomaston Class S Champion Girls’ High School Basketball team to the State Capitol. The legislators honored the team for winning the Class S Championship and presented the players and coaching staff with an official state citation commending them on their efforts. Sen. Martin represents Bristol, Harwinton, Plainville, Plymouth and Thomaston. Rep. Piscopo represents Burlington, Harwinton, Litchfield and Thomaston.
