Hartford, CT – Senator Paul Formica (R-East Lyme) joined Eugene O’Neill Theatre Executive Director Preston Whiteway, theatre buffs and local dignitaries at a recent ribbon cutting to celebrate the completion of the O’Neill Theater historic campus expansion in Waterford.

The O’Neill Campus now boasts eight new cottages and a new rehearsal hall to create living, rehearsal, and production spaces for an additional 65 artists and faculty. A theatrical village, designed by Centerbrook Architects as a traditional New England hamlet, accommodates the O’Neill’s newest program in intensive theatrical training, the National Music Theater Institute. Additional exciting programs are soon to be launched as well.
