Dairy farmer Paul Miller wants state lawmakers to know that others besides cat and dog owners will feel the pinch of a proposed sales tax on veterinary services.

The Democratic proposal would cost his dairy operation an additional $3,810 a year that he said Fairvue Farms really cannot afford to pay to the state government with all that is happening now in the milk industry. “It adds up,” Miller said.
