Art’s half marathon run benefited a worthy cause

I recently ran the Harvard Pilgrim Middletown Half & Legends Marathon to raise money for a very worthy cause. With help from residents from throughout our region, we raised $4,335 for Middletown-based Gilead Community Services.

Gilead provides a broad spectrum of community mental health services, from outpatient clinic services to residential care. Every little bit of funding for mental health services helps, especially in difficult budget years like this one.

Thank you to all who helped us shine a spotlight on the excellent services Gilead provides.
