Sen. Markley to Co-Host Town Hall Meeting in Waterbury

January 12, 2015

Waterbury – Senator Joe Markley (R-16) will co-host a town hall meeting in Waterbury with Representative Selim Noujaim and Representative Anthony D’Amelio to discuss the 2015 Legislative Session.

“I always look forward to town hall meetings,” said Senator Markley. “They are an excellent way to meet with constituents and hear their concerns.”

The meeting will be held on Wednesday January 14th from noon-1pm at the Waterbury Senior Center, 1985 East Main St., Waterbury. The event is open to the public, and all are encouraged to attend.

“The legislature faces many important issues this session,” Senator Markley remarked. “Bills relating to state spending, the budget, and transportation will be debated and voted on. The governor will likely propose a new tax, road tolls, to pay for his new initiatives. These things matter to the people of Waterbury, and it is important for me to listen to their concerns.”

Wolcott-Thursday January 15th from 6:30-8pm at the Wolcott Town Hall, 10 Kenea Ave.
