Sen. Markley to Co-Host Town Hall Meeting in Southington
January 29, 2015Southingon-Senator Joe Markley (R-16) will co-host a town hall meeting in Southington with Representative Rob Sampson and Representative Al Adinolfi to discuss the 2015 Legislative Session.
“I always look forward to town hall meetings,” said Senator Markley. “They are an excellent way to meet with constituents and hear their concerns.”
The meeting will be held on Thursday January 29th from 6:30-8pm at the Municipal Center, 196 N. Main St. Southington. The event is open to the public, and all are encouraged to attend.
“The legislature faces many important issues this session,” Senator Markley remarked. “Bills relating to state spending, the budget, and transportation will be debated and voted on. The governor will likely propose a new tax, road tolls, to pay for his new initiatives. These things matter to the people of Southington, and it is important for me to listen to their concerns.”
