“This time of year it is important to remember the children. Teaming up with the State Police to bring joy to a child’s face on Christmas morning is priceless,” said Senator-elect Formica.

Over the next few weeks each State Police Troop will be holding “STUFF A CRUISER HOLDAY TOY DRIVE” events in their area. This is a statewide effort between Connecticut State Police and the citizens of Connecticut.

The donated toys will be distributed to local Social Services agencies in the same area where the toys are collected. Troop E in Montville will be sending their collection to the Norwich Department of Children and Families Office as well as local shelters.
“I want to congratulate our great Connecticut State Police Officers for all their work to bring joy to the kids this holiday season. They went above and beyond the call of duty and should be recognized for their generosity and dedication to the community,” added Senator-elect Formica.

Troop E’s cruiser was stuffed at the end of the day. The Troop’s donation totals included gift cards and toys for hundreds of kids in the district.
