Cheshire 4th graders visit Legislature

Hartford, CT – State Senator Joe Markley (R-Southington) welcomed 4th graders from Highland School in Cheshire to the state capitol this week. Students were given a brief lesson on civics in a hearing room located in the legislative office building. After, students toured the building and then continued on to the state Capitol to learn more about the senate and house chambers.
