Sen. Boucher, Rep. Lavielle Pleased Cablevision Issuing Credits for Lost Service
August 22, 2013Sen. Toni Boucher (R-26) and Rep. Gail Lavielle (R-143) today applauded Cablevision for making credits available to customers across the region who lost television, Internet and phone service for several hours on August 18.
The company is communicating directly with customers about the credits, which are based on subscribers’ level of services.
“We appreciate Cablevision’s proactive efforts in making these credits available to area residents,” Sen. Boucher said.
“This helpful step will reimburse customers for the services that were lost,” Rep. Lavielle said. “We thank Cablevision for taking this step.”
Sen. Boucher and Rep. Lavielle noted that they have heard from many constituents who wanted a convenient way to get credit. The legislators communicated their thoughts to Cablevision and are pleased the company has taken action.
