In Haddam on Saturday, May 25: Sen. Linares Hosts Flag Collection

Sen. Art Linares on Saturday (May 25) will host a flag collection to help residents dispose of their worn American flags in a dignified and respectful way.

From 11 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Sen. Linares will be collecting tattered and torn flags at the Haddam Transfer Station at 750 Saybrook Road.

“The flags we collect will be given to the American Legion for proper retirement,” Sen. Linares said. “Please take stock of your flags and stop by the transfer station on Saturday. I look forward to seeing you.”
