Hartford, CT – Senator Tony Guglielmo (R-Stafford) recognized Chris Bowen of Eastford for his support of Emergency Medical Services (EMS) in Connecticut at a ceremony in Hartford at the state Capitol.

Bowen received the Gerald Ferrari Award – For “Behind the Scene” Supports of EMS. Bowen of Eastford Fire and Rescue Sales, was recognized as an unsung hero whose work often goes on behind the scenes and typically goes unnoticed.

Over the years Bowen has gone the extra mile. For instance, during the recent major weather events in our state when Connecticut was closed down, Bowen kept Eastford Fire and Rescue open and ready to provide mechanical support should any EMS department need it.
