With family members, teachers and students looking on, Sen. Art Linares (left) and Rep. Tom Vicino (right) on April 11 presented an official State of Connecticut citation to Jared Elliot Middle School student Jordan Ledyard (seated, at center) during a brief ceremony at the school. Earlier this year, the 13-year-old Clinton resident bravely put herself in harm’s way by standing up for an elderly couple under assault.
